4D3N Siem Reap & Phnom Penh Muslim Tour

Day 1: ARR-REP (-/L/D)
Arrival Siem Reap airport, pick up and transfer to your hotel , Visit the floating village of Chong Khneas, located 10 kilometers south of Siem Reap.Take a traditional wooden boat for a ride on the Tonle Sap Lake, the "Great Lake" of Cambodia, one of the largest in Asia. Lunch at restaurant
Visit "Les Artisans d'Angkor - Chantiers Ecoles" of Siem Reap renowned woodworking, stone carving and polychrome workshops and visit Angkor silk farm where collated in Puok, 16 km from Siem Reap, exhibition on silk and its process. The silk farm is a fascinating farm/workshop where you can see the entire silk creation process including growing the food for the silk worms, breeding the worms, silk extraction, spinning and refinement, traditional ikat dying, pattern creation, and looming and time at leisure at the local market
-Dinner with dance show at local restaurant and accommodation at hotel

Day 2: REP (B/L/D)
Breakfast at hotel, In the morning, visit .the ancient capital of Angkor Thom (12th c.), See the South Gate with its huge statues depicting the churning of the ocean of milk, the Royal Enclosure, Phimeanakas, the Elephants Terrace, the Terrace of the Leper King and Bayon Temple (unique for its 54 towers decorated with over 200 smiling faces of Avolokitesvara), Ta Prohm Temple of similar design to the Jayavarman VII temples, this quiet sprawling monastic complex is only partially cleared of jungle overgrowth. Intentionally left partially unrestored, massive fig and silk cotton trees grow from the towers and corridors offering some of the best ‘tree-in temple’ photo opportunities at Angkor Wat

-Visit the most famous of all the temples on the plain of Angkor: Angkor Wat. The temple complex covers 81 hectares and is comparable in size to the Imperial Palace in Beijing. Its distinctive five towers are emblazoned on the Cambodian flag and the 12th century masterpiece is considered by art historians to be the prime example of classical Khmer art and architecture. Angkor Wat's five towers symbolize Meru's five peaks - the enclosed wall represents the mountains at the edge of the world and the surrounding moat, the ocean beyond until sunset at Bakheng Mountain.

Day 3: REP-PNH (B/L/D)

-Transfer to Phnom Penh by coach, up on arrival pick up and transfer to hotel

-Visit the Independent Monument, and the Royal Palace, built by King Norodom in 1866 on the site of the old town, and the Silver Pagoda. Located within the grounds of the Royal Palace, the Silver Pagoda is so named because of its floor, which is made up of 5000 silver tiles. The treasures found inside include a solid gold Buddha encrusted and weighing 90kilograms and a small 17th c. emerald and baccarat crystal Buddha, visit of the Wat Phnom Temple, Phnom Penh's namesake, from where you can enjoy views over the tree-lined avenues of the city and the Notorious Tuol Sleng Museum, In 1975 Tuol Svay Prey High School was taken over by Pol Pot's security forces and turned into a prison known as Security Prison 21 (S-21).

Day 3 Beijing (B/L/D)

Visit to the Jade Museum to have a better understanding on china culture. Today is the highlight of our China tour, the climbing of the Great Wall of China. First built in the Warring States period (475-221BC) as a series of earthworks erected by individual kingdoms as a defense against each other as well as from invasions from the north, the wall we see in the present day wall was left from the Ming dynasty. Lunch at a local Muslim restaurant nearby. Shopping at the Crystal Shop. Then visit the Burning Cream Centre on the way back to downtown. The rest of the day will be devoted to Wang Fu Jing Shopping Street and Night Food Market, where you will see a collection of Halal snacks. Shopping at Hard Rock Cafe Souvenir Shop at night

Day 4 Beijing (B/L/D)

Shopping at the Fresh Water Pearl Center. Visit the Summer Palace in the morning. Being the largest imperial garden in China, the Summer Palace was first built in the Qing emperor Qianlong’s time in 1751 and burned down in1860 by the French and British army and restored by the Dowager empress Cixi for her own enjoyment. It became a favorite haunt of Cixi, who preferred it to the Forbidden City, and named it Yihe Yuan meaning the garden of health and harmony. After lunch we will visit one of the most famous mosques in this city, the Ming dynasty-built Nan Dou Ya Mosque that has a unique Chinese style with hundreds years of history. Foot Massage at the Chinese traditional medicine center. Enjoy the tea ceremony at the Tea House.
